Guillermo brings over a decade of deep scientific expertise spanning organic chemistry, process development, advanced materials, electrochemistry, and nanotechnology. He has conducted research at world-class institutions across four continents — including IBS (South Korea), KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), and UT Austin — and currently serves as Director of R&D at Mironova Labs, where he leads the full development lifecycle from concept through commercial-scale manufacturing for specialty chemical and cosmetic ingredient clients.
His hands-on experience covers multi-step synthesis, scale-up from milligram to kilogram, CDMO management, QA/QC systems, DoE-driven process optimization, and analytical characterization (NMR, HPLC, GC-MS, and more). He combines classical scientific rigor with modern data science capabilities in Python and AI-driven approaches, enabling smarter, faster paths to product commercialization.
Magdalena brings a rare combination of deep bench science and strategic quality leadership — built across four countries and three continents. She spent over five years as Senior Research Fellow at IBS in South Korea, developing pioneering nanotechnology-based cancer therapeutics using gold nanoparticles, before transitioning into GMP-regulated cell and gene therapy environments in the United States.
Currently serving as Director of Quality Partnerships at Minaris Advanced Therapies — a global CDMO leader in cell and gene therapy — she oversees quality governance, client partnerships, and GMP compliance across an international manufacturing network. Her expertise spans FDA cGMP, EU GMP, and ICH frameworks, with hands-on experience in technology transfers, audit readiness, CAPA management, regulatory inspections, and quality systems for advanced therapy products.
